KOOGEN（クーゲン）のコンセプトは、「美しい人をつくる」です。
 

柘植伊佐夫の「人物デザイン」を軸に、映像や舞台に登場する存在を、

総合的に生み出します。

​

人物を成り立たせる要素には、

衣裳やヘアメイクといった表層、

それを支える精神や肉体の基盤、

そして時間の蓄積としての物語があります。

​

それらが結びつくことによって、ひとつの存在が立ち上がり、

その一体感に美しさが宿ります。

 

しかし、それは自然には生まれません。
そこで考えられた方法が、人物デザインです。

制作現場では、多くの専門領域が関わることで、
解釈や完成度に微細なずれが生まれやすくなります。

 

そのずれはやがて違和感となり、

作品全体の精度に影響を及ぼします。

 

人物デザインは、分化した要素を統合し、
その軸を定め、全体の一貫性を保ちます。

 

KOOGENは、コンセプトの共有から各部門の調整、

長期制作における品質管理、演出変更への対応まで、
成立のためのすべてを、一元的に設計・監修・実行します。

Creating a Beautiful Person

 

KOOGEN’s concept is “creating a beautiful person.”

Centered on Isao Tsuge’s Jinbutsu Design,
we create presences for film, television, and stage
through a comprehensive, integrated perspective.

 

The elements that constitute a person include
surface layers such as costume and hair & makeup,
the underlying foundations of mind and body,
and the narrative accumulated through time.

When these elements come together, a unified presence emerges.
It is within this coherence that beauty resides.

However, such a presence does not arise naturally.
It must be constructed.

This necessity led to the development of Jinbutsu Design.

 

JINBUTSU DESIGN
— The integrated design of a person’s presence within the world of a work.

In production environments, multiple specialized disciplines are involved,
and subtle discrepancies in interpretation and execution inevitably arise.

These discrepancies gradually manifest as a sense of dissonance,
ultimately affecting the overall integrity of the work.

 

Jinbutsu Design integrates these divided elements,
establishes a clear axis for the character,
and maintains coherence throughout.

KOOGEN functions as the team that realizes this process—
from conceptual alignment and interdepartmental coordination
to quality control over extended production periods
and adaptation to directorial changes.

We design, supervise, and execute every aspect required
to bring a character into full existence.
